ORLANDO ULTIMATE

Big things have been happening in the world of FUIFF over the last few weeks! We now have over 40 girls interested in playing for us!!!

Our first official team practice will be June 4th and 5th at the UCF IM Sports fields, in Orlando. Sorry for the late notice friends, there was a hold up officially reserving the fields. These are the same grass fields that Secionals were held at this past college season. If you are facing campus from the parking lot these fields are located on the right hand side.

FUIFF has the fields reserved from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.This clinic will be run by Tiffany Waters from Gainesville and pending your approval I would like to motion that she coach us this season. After interviewing her, I felt like our goals were aligned for the upcoming Club season and I couldn't be more excited! I would like to stress the importance of your attendance at this clinic. Every second we have together at practice will be crucial since we will not be able to practice as a team every week. As soon as Tiffany sends me her schedule for the weekend I will forward it to you all, please note that 10-6 is the amount of time we have the fields reserved for but it does not mean that we will be practicing the entire time (especially since it will be a zillion degrees outside). HOUSING CAN BE PROVIDED Saturday night! Also, I have a lot of logistics that will need to be discussed, which we will either go over on Saturday at the fields or Saturday night when we're all hanging out becoming BFF's. 

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET: a disc, cleats, running shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, snacks, A LIGHT AND A DARK SHIRT FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY (any grey shirts will be burned). Pretty much anything you would want at a tournament ladies just be smart.

THINGS I NEED TO KNOW via EMAIL:

1) Are you still interested in playing FUIFF?

2) Will you be attending the clinic on the 5th and 6th?

3) Do you need housing Saturday night?

4) Does anyone know a way to contact Sol *coughStaceycough*, they won't return any of my emails and I would like to set up a scrimmage goshdarnit!

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT:

1) DUES WILL BE $30.00 to play FUIFF. Club season is paid for entirely out of pocket baby! No SCC to pay the bills. This money will hopefully cover our coaches traveling expenses, she should NOT have to pay to be our coach.

2) On top of dues you will also have to purchase a jersey (which will be freaking awesome) and help pay entry fees and hotel bills. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY @ the TIME WE ARE TRAVELING PLEASE DO NOT AGREE TO GO TO A TOURNAMENT.

3) Regionals is located in Arkansas this year...would you be willing to travel that far/take a Friday and Monday off of work to travel?

4) Club season runs into College season. (Sectionals Dates: September 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25, Regionals Dates: October 1-2 and 8-9, Club Championships: October 27-30, Sarasota, FL)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST I NEED HELP, mostly with tournaments. The tournaments I am interested in going to as of now are Winston cup in North Carolina,  Sam Adams in Tennessee, Club Southerns in Georgia, Club Terminus in Georgia, and possibly Swan Boat in Orlando. I desperately need people to help me find out information about these tournaments. Please select at least one of these tournaments and start Googleing! I NEED TO KNOW DATES and THE COST OF BIDS!!! I have been looking on USAultimates website for tournaments but as of now there are only two officially listed and they are both way out of our reach this season due to $$$. Some of the tournaments may be quickly approaching but I'm gonna be honest and tell you that I don't have time to look them all up on my own. If you have any input as to what tournaments you would like to go please let me know as soon as possible.
